We’re launching a grant program to empower student organizers across India to host world-class hackathons on their campuses.

• 💰 Grant Amount: Up to USD 500 per hackathon (tailored to scale & needs)
• 🎓 Who can apply: Student Organizers at universities and colleges across India conducting hackathons between October 2025 and December 2025
• ⚡ What’s included: Direct funding support, access to AWS workshops, content bundle, and environment to build your prototype.
• ✨ The Devfolio platform to streamline applications and project submissions.

But the best part? Organizers and participants will get to tap into the AWS Builder Center, home for builders to access all builder resources, engage with the AWS community, and provide feedback or product suggestions to AWS product teams.

How it works? 🛠️

1. Get Hackathon verified on Devfolio - Get your hackathon set up and verified on Devfolio. Our verification process is thorough and allows us to ensure all the details are available for hackers before your hackathon is announced.

2. Apply for the grant – Fill out the grant application explaining about your hackathon mission, why you want to host it, and how you’ll use the grant.
   Only one representative from the hackathon team should apply to the grant.

3. Get shortlisted – Our team will evaluate applications based on vision, scale, student impact and support scope for your hackathon. We may reach out to get more details.

4. Receive funding & support – If selected, you’ll be onboarded to our grant program which will include sponsorship + support from AWS team during your hackathon.

5. Host your hackathon – Build the event you’ve always dreamed of, with all the resources you need in place.

There should be no conflict of interest when applying for the grants.
